May 31, 2007 - In addition to cushioning metal products against shock, Rust-Shield(TM) contains Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor (VCI) compound that vaporizes and coats molecules on surface of metal to prevent corrosion. Product is suited for storing or shipping of metal parts. When parts are unwrapped, protective molecular layer immediately begins to dissipate. This leaves metal parts clean, corrosion-free, and ready to use.

Rust-Shield(TM) Gives Protection

This exciting new product is a light weight polyethylene foam material that can both cushion a product from shock and prevent its metal components from corroding. Corrosion cost the United States over $276 billion/year. Any steps we take to reduce this loss will save real money.

Rust-Shield(TM) contains a Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor (VCI) compound that vaporizes and coats molecules on the surface of metal. This layer creates a barrier that prevents oxidation. See our web site rust-shield.com for more detail information.
Potential Applications:
· Shipping and storage of truck, automotive and construction service parts
· Marine storage
· Storage of military and defense supplies around the world
· Export shipping via ocean freight
· Organization and container kitting of metal items
· Separator sheet for shipping metal plates
· Protection of electronics from shock and corrosion

Simply store or ship metal parts in a closed package together with Rust-Shield(TM). When the parts are unwrapped, the protective molecular layer immediately begins to dissipate. The metal parts are clean, corrosion free and ready to use and to save you and your customer money.
