APS Elastomers Introduces Improved TPUs for Caster Wheels

Romulus, MI -- APS Elastomers’ latest TPUs (thermoplastic polyurethane) can be used in a wide range of commercial, industrial and consumer products including, but not limited to caster wheels for shopping carts, office chairs, and material handling equipment.  The polyester-based TPUs offer improved resistance to petrol, diesel, oils, vegetable and animal fats, and solvents.  Available in hardness range of Shore 65A- Shore 54D, this specifically formulated injection molded grade is highly durable in demanding weather (UV) and high service temperatures applications.  “Our ability to custom compound and align ourselves with other thermoplastic distributors allows us to provide our customers a single source for TPE material and expertise”, says Stephane Morin, owner of APS Elastomers.
