Super Tough Cover to Protect Visual Signal Devices
The Strobe Damage StopperŪ (STI-1221E) from STI helps protect strobe units against vandalism and damage. This cover has an open backbox which is useful for retrofits or for flush mounted units.
This virtually indestructible, UL Listed cover is solid for strobe-only alarms. It is molded of clear, thick, UV-stabilized polycarbonate material and is backed by a lifetime guarantee against breakage in normal use. Cover allows easy access for service and the polycarbonate is rated -40°F to 120°F (-40°C to 49°C).
Many versions of this cover are available with tough, clear spacers for larger horn units, retrofits, surface mount and weather resistant applications. A unique Enviro Kit can be used for extreme conditions where dampness, water or dust is present. Slotted covers for horn/strobe models are also available (STI-1210A-E). Sound and light loss does occur. See website for more information on specific covers.
