Made of vented fiberglass, 802.3af compliant Power-over-Ethernet Enclosures feature thermostatically controlled cooling fans that can be powered by PoE switch, midspan, or injector. Units include aluminum mounting plate with tapped holes for various network appliances. Suited for wired and wireless equipment in harsh environments both indoors and out, 2 single-fan enclosures measure 14 x 12 x 7 in., while 2 dual-fan models measure 18 x 16 x 8 in.

L-com Global Connectivity Releases 802.3af Compliant NEMA Enclosures with Fans
NORTH ANDOVER, MA - June 17, 2009 - L-com, a global leader in the manufacture of wired and wireless connectivity solutions, today announced the addition of four new 802.3af compliant Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) NEMA rated weatherproof equipment enclosures.
The vented fiberglass enclosures feature thermostatically controlled cooling fans that can be powered by an PoE switch, midspan or injector. The enclosures feature a aluminum mounting plate for user equipment. The plate features tapped holes for various popular network appliances. The 802.3af interface and thermostat used for fan control are mounted on the back of the plate. The base models feature a bi-metallic thermostat and two models feature a Solid State temperature controller for improved reliability and set-point accuracy. The majority of 802.3af compliant switches, midspans or injectors operating in Mode A or B can power the enclosures fans. This eliminates the need for a separate passive injector required by other L-com PoE NEMA enclosure models. These rugged enclosures are perfect for both wired and wireless equipment installations in harsh, unforgiving environments both indoors and outdoors where dust or moisture is present.
Two of the enclosures measure 14" X 12" X 7" and feature a single high CFM cooling fan. The other two enclosures in the series measure 18" X 16" X 8" and feature dual high CFM cooling fans.
