New Paslode 'Rooder's Choice' Roofing Coil Nailer Features Increased Durability, More Power

The new "Roofer's Choice" Roofing Coil Nailer from Paslode offers all of the power needed to drive nails into roofing materials, and features a durable design for reduced maintenance.

The R175-C features 20 percent more power than the original model to consistently drive nails flush into all roofing materials. The tool also features a carbide tip nose, hardened steel driver blade and housing wear plates for increased durability.

Weighing only 5.8 pounds, the ergonomically designed unit is ideal for use by roofers, general contractors and homebuilders to perform a variety of roofing applications including asphalt shingles and fiberglass shingles.

The "Roofer's Choice" coil nailer drives up to eight fasteners per second and accepts fasteners ranging from 7/8 to 1 ¾ inches in length and .120 in nail diameter. The tool offers an adjustable shingle guide that keeps roofing shingles straight and properly aligned.

The R175-C also features a durable aluminum magazine; a two-fingered trigger that makes the tool comfortable to use even when wearing gloves; an adjustable diffuser cap that allows air exhaust to be directed away from the user; a Suregrip handle that provides comfort in all types of weather; and, a long, narrow nose for precise fastener placement.
