New Martel Electronics DPC-300A Dual System Precision Pneumatic Calibrator Takes Calibrating Out of the Box
DERRY, N.H., -- Martel Electronics Corporation introduces the Martel BETA DPC-300A Precision Pneumatic Calibration System with dual pressure systems and the capability to measure or source voltage and current. The DPC-300A is ideal for industrial and electrical technicians who need a highly accurate portable digital calibrator for the testing and calibration of valve actuators, P/I transmitters, controllers, pressure gauges, switches, and recorders that are normally found on a process control loop.
The Martel BETA DPC-300A isn't just a replacement for the old "box" calibrator. The dual pressure system allows technicians to use regulated plant air or internally generated pressure sources for calibration. The internal pump provides up to 300 pounds-per-square-inch (20 bar) with pushbutton ease. Exact values are set using the fine vernier control knob. Plant air, up-to-100 psi, is controlled with a precision regulator for low inches of water on up. Users can select to display the pressure signal in any of 13 engineering units.
The DCA-300A features a built-in loop calibrator with 24 VDC instrument loop power supply, external pressure module interface, high-capacity rechargeable NiMH batteries for 50 hours of use or 125 cycles of pumping to 300 psi, Martel's trademark three-key function menus, ClearBrite(TM) LCD display, and multimode operation.
The high performance calibrator is packaged in a rugged IP67-rated (waterproof including immersion when the case is closed) blown resin case that can take a pounding when used in the field.
