July 28, 2008 - Corrosion resistant Hayward pneumatic actuators come in various air-to-air (double acting) and air-to-spring (fail-safe) ¼ turn spring return models with 2 and 4 piston rack and piston or vane designs, depending upon model. They incorporate manual override, position indicator, and permanent lubrication. Options such as solenoid valves with different voltages, limit switches, cycle speed controls, position transmitter, and positioners are also available.

Wide Range of Pneumatic Actuators and Options Available for Valve Automation Applications


Hayward Flow Control Systems, Clemmons, NC, a division of Hayward Industrial Products, now offers a wide range of pneumatic valve actuators and related control options for a diverse range of valve automation applications.

Hayward corrosion-resistant pneumatic actuators are available in a variety of air-to-air (double acting) and air-to-spring (fail-safe) ¼ turn spring return models with two and four piston rack & piston or vane designs depending upon the models. All models offer high torque outputs and come with a manual override, position indicator, and permanent lubrication. Several models can be used with ball valves up to 2" in size, other models offer an ISO5211 mounting base and can be used with True Union ball valves, three-way ball valves and butterfly valves from ¼" - 24" in size, and one model is suitable for use with all size ball and butterfly valves up to 8" in size.

A variety of options such as solenoid valves with different voltages, limit switches, cycle speed controls, position transmitter, and positioners are also available to meet application specific requirements.
