RT Thruster is offered in 7 bore sizes ranging from 9/16-3 in. and features both composite bearings and precision recirculating ball bearings. It incorporates Roundline Plus cylinder and robust aluminum slide body for defined load guiding and maximum torque resistance. Array of options, including external shock absorbers, stroke adjust collars, and bumpers, are offered, along with Ecology seals that provide reduced noise and vibration in high-speed applications.

LITTLETON, Colo. (Dec. 2008) - Norgren, a leading supplier of pneumatic and fluid control solutions for the industrial market, launches the RT Series Linear Thruster, a small but rugged pneumatic actuator designed for exceptional load carrying and precise load guiding. The RT series thrusters are dimensionally interchangeable with other major brands and are quickly and easily changed in the field. This product adds to the expanding Norgren portfolio of actuator products to fill an essential gap.
The RT Thruster is offered in 7 bore sizes ranging from 9/16" through 3", and features both composite bearings and precision recirculating ball bearings. It incorporates a Roundline Plus cylinder, and a robust aluminum slide body for defined load guiding and maximum torque resistance. The RT Thrusters offer an array of options including external shock absorbers, stroke adjust collars, bumpers, and many more. Optional Ecology seals provide reduced noise and vibration in high-speed applications.
