October 28, 2004 - Posimax B300 accurately doses free flowing masterbatch or additives into process screw via screw-less feeding mechanism. There are no pockets or screws, and machine incorporates feeding disc as only moving part. Material is fed via rotating disc that creates product lock-up zone, identifying 4 areas where materials pass through. Model B300 feeds materials at rate of 11–1,100 lb/hr.

TELFORD, UK - (October 20, 2004) Colormax Limited, a leading manufacturer of innovative auxiliary equipment designed for material handling in the plastics industry, offers plastics processors the Posimax (B200) and (B300) to accurately dose free flowing masterbatch or additives into the process screw via a patented screw-less feeding mechanism.
The Posimax incorporates only one moving part, the feeding disc. There are no pockets or screws, with materials fed via a rotating disc that creates a product lock-up zone, identifying four areas where materials pass through. The Posimax (B200) feeds materials at rates of 1-100 kg/hr (2.2 - 220 lb/hr), and the Posimax (B300) at 5-500 kg/hr (11-1100 lbs/hr).
