Freelin-Wade Publishes New Catalog - Launches New Product: Liquiflex-POE(TM)
(McMinnville, OR) Plastic tubing manufacturer Freelin-Wade announces the publication of their new catalog. The 40-page catalog showcases their product line as well as a host of new features. Among the new products is Liquiflex-POE(TM), the company's new line of plastic tubing.
New in the catalog:
Metric sizes in the FEP tubing line.
Kynar® now comes in natural (milky white) color.
All Polyethylene is now Linear Low Density (LLDPE). This tubing performs better than the old LDPE line. Freelin-Wade made this change without a price increase. The new LLDPE line is FDA compliant for food contact in all colors including red.
The company announced the launch of their Polypropylene tubing line last year. It is now in the catalog.
The catalog includes a list of all off-catalog resins that the company currently uses.
"It was time to freshen up our look and reinvigorate our brand," said marketing manager Ron Miller. "We are certainly achieving a bright look with this new catalog. The photos are new, products updated and there is more information inside." Miller went on to add, "It's a great catalog but the thing that has us most excited is the launch of our new Liquiflex-POE tubing. We think people are going to love this tube."
Liquiflex-POE
Coinciding with the release of the new catalog is the launch of Liquiflex-POE. This tubing is chemical resistant like polyethylene and flexible like polyurethane. Miller said, "Polyethylene flexes but Liquiflex really bends. Not unlike Polyurethane, it springs right back and can be coiled or bonded into multi-tube bundles."
Liquiflex-POE is ideal for fluid handling applications in low-pressure, room temperature environments. These properties make it an excellent choice for food manufacturing and water applications. Another potential market is for use in spray bottles, particularly in applications where the tube needs to flex through a unique shape.
