March 17, 2006 - Designed for food and pharmaceutical industries, Detectamet Metal Detectable Plastic Trays measure 285 x 230 x 50 mm and weigh 240 g. X-ray visible and chemical resistant, they can withstand temperatures from -30 to +80°C. Made of plastic material that is FDA approved for direct food contact under EU90-128, trays can be used as part of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point and are available in blue, red, green and yellow.

E-Components & Chains Limited of Pocklington UK are pleased to announce the launch of their Detectamet Metal Detectable Plastic Tray available in the 4 Hygiene Colours housings of Blue, Red, Green & Yellow.

Designed for the Food & Pharmaceutical industries the Detectamet Tray measures 285mm long x 230mm wide x 50mm deep and weighs only 240g.

The only Metal Detectable plastic tray available manufactured from a specially formulated material based on high impact, food contact approved plastic. Even the smallest of Particles are detectable and rejectable

The Detectamet Tray benefits include:

o X-ray visible
o Good Chemical Resistance
o Prevents damage to delicate and expensive equipment
o Will withstand temperatures from minus 30 degreesC to + 80 degreesC

o Subject to a modest tooling charge and a minimum order quantity ECC are able to incorporate a company logo/corporate identity on the trays should this be required.
