Manufactured from black glass-filled nylon plastic, inch-size star knobs have matte finish and zinc-plated, steel, molded-in hub. Boss face is exactly square to bore and made of steel to prevent edges from breaking. Available in metric and inch sizes with maximum heat tolerance of 110°C, knobs come in tapped or blind bore types. Special bores and threads are available upon request, as are other modifications such as cross pins and set screw holes.
