It is produced from specially formulated material based on high-impact food contact approved polypropylene. Material can be detected and rejected by typical metal detection machines used in food processing industry. Cup is virtually unbreakable and will work in environments ranging from -30 to +80°C.

Blue, Red, Green & Yellow, the Detectamet polymers in all colours are now certified and conform to current European and American legislation (EU90/128 and FDA regulations), governing the use of plastics in Direct Contact with food.
