It features hardened mixing rotors and abrasion hardened stainless steel mixing chamber with leak-proof construction. Mixing chamber tilts for quick discharge and cleanout. VMX Mixer comes in 5 L lab models, and in 35, 55, 75, 110, and 200 L production models.

TMP Introduces New Plastic Compounding Mixer That Removes Moisture While Mixing

Cleveland, OH: Technical Machine Products (TMP), has recently introduced a proprietary vacuum mixer that removes moisture from resins while mixing in one fast mixing cycle.

Combining heat and the propriety TMP vacuum system, the new VMX mixer is ideal for use with both hygroscopic and non-hygroscopic resins. During the batch mixing cycle, the system removes moisture, entrapped air, and volaties present in the compounds.

VMX mixers are available in a 5 liter lab models, and in 35, 55, 75,110, and 200 liter production models. The mixer chamber tilts for quick discharge and for easy, fast clean-out. VMX mixers are designed for floor level installation, eliminating the need for
expensive and inconvenient mezzanines.

Built for heavy-duty mixing and lower maintenance, the VMX mixers feature hardened mixing rotors and abrasion hardened stainless steel mixing chamber with leak-proof construction.

Equipped with programmable, user-friendly controls, optional control programs can provide process control based on times, temperatures, or amp draws. Automated charging systems are also available as an option.
