Air Breather Offers Two New Features
Leetsdale, PA- Schroeder Industries, a recognized leader in filtration and fluid conditioning products, now offers the Plastic Air Breather. The Plastic Air Breather is equipped with a visual indicator and replaceable element and is intended for use for reservoirs from five gallons up to 105 gallons.
The air breather's visual indicator has a range of 0.5 psi (.035 bar) and shows current contamination levels as a percentage, even when the system is shut down. The filter element range is 3 microns absolute with a 3.4" threaded connection. When the element is changed, a simple push-button mechanism returns the indicator to its original setting.
A protective plastic insert prevents the topping off of unfiltered operating fluid via the breather, which is compatible with commercial industrial hydraulic fluids.
