RG70PK HiTorc(TM) Plant Based Security Shredder
Featuring a 70x82 inch hopper opening and a hopper volume capacity of 10.25 cubic yards, the RG70PK, is one of the larger machines in Vecoplan's full line of plant based security shredders. Equipped with Vecoplan's exclusive HiTorc(TM) drive motor, it's also one of the most energy efficient shredders on the market today. The RG70PK is not only large, but its extreme duty construction allows it to securely destroy large volumes of unwanted products and electronic scrap, as well as traditional paper documents.
In addition to its large hopper, the RG70PK features a 20" diameter rotor with 84 - 40x40mm cutting inserts, configured in a double row for extra bite and a 10 HP, two speed, hydraulic feed ram.
The RG70PK's HiTorc(TM) Magnetic Pulse Drive delivers up to an 85% reduction in energy consumption, up to a 100% increase in throughput capacity, maximum torque across the widest possible speed range, full speed control, the quickest possible reversing action, controlled stop function, plus there's no gearbox, fluid coupling, or belts to adjust or replace.
As with all Vecoplan security shredders, the RG70PK cross shreds in a single pass to deliver consistent particle sizes that are determined by the size of the screen employed on the machine. Quick and easy to change, Vecoplan screens are inexpensive and provide you with the flexibility to meet any changes in security levels demanded by the marketplace.
