New Planning Software from Sungard Availability Services Addresses Business Continuity Requirements of Hospitals
Wayne, Pa., April 3, 2009 - In today's fast-paced healthcare environment, real-time access to medical information and treatment protocols is required to deliver the highest quality of care. LDRPS (Living Disaster Recovery Planning System) for Hospitals, new software from SunGard Availability Services, provides comprehensive business continuity management designed to address the healthcare industry's unique, 24/7 demands for information availability.
The centerpiece of LDRPS for Hospitals is a database that guides business continuity planning and puts a program in place to help IT and hospital operations recover simultaneously after a systems outage.
