Hinge and Pin slip-on pipe fittings close around Size 8 pipe and are secured in place with locking pin and case hardened set screws. Model A12 Split 45° Single Socket Tee connects 2 sections of pipe at 45° angle. Model A35 Split Three Socket Cross ties upright with horizontal pipes in 3 directions, all at 90° to upright. Model A40 Split Four Socket Cross ties center upright with horizontal pipes in 4 directions. Malleable, cast-iron fittings are corrosion-resistant.

Kee Industrial Introduces Three New Kee Klamp "Hinge and Pin" Slip-On Strucutural Pipe Fittings to Extend Existing Structures without Dismantling
(April 2003) - Three new "Hinge and Pin" style structural slip-on pipe fittings, introduced by Kee Industrial Products, Inc., Buffalo, New York, allow for railings and other tubular pipe structures to be extended easily without having to dismantle the original structure. Each fitting is designed to close around Size 8 pipe and is secured in place with a locking pin and by tightening the included case hardened set screws. The three new fittings are:
Model A12 Split 45° Single Socket Tee to connect two sections of pipe at a 45-degree angle. It can be used for bracing and struts.
Model A35 Split Three Socket Cross to tie an upright with horizontal pipes in three directions, all at 90 degrees to the upright. The upright passes through the fitting.
Model A40 Split Four Socket Cross to tie a center upright with horizontal pipes in four directions. It can be used in multiple upright structures. The upright passes through the fitting.
According to the company, the unique new Kee Klamp "Hinge and Pin" fittings are malleable, cast-iron slip-on pipe fittings that reduce installation costs significantly compared to welded railings. The fittings are galvanized at 2 oz. per square foot, making them corrosion-resistant and practical for indoor or outdoor use.
