Pin Arbor Chucks by Logansport Matsumoto Ideal For Machining of Flat, Round Parts

Logansport, IN - Logansport Matsumoto Company's line of Pin Arbor Chucks are designed to eliminate distortion when holding round parts with flat surfaces. Typically they are used for machining brake disc rotors and similarly shaped parts.

Many times large diameter, flat faced parts need to be faced or bored out--as in center boring--but the manufacturer does not want to put a lot of force on the radial surface. In this case, either the LMC Model PB or Model PBH Pin Arbor Chuck can be used. Both styles offer a pull-down feature and a radial-clamping feature.

LMC PB and PBH chucks are available in 5", 6", 8", 10" size chucks.

In addition, the Model PBH chuck features a standoff behind the chuck to support the back side of the jaws. This gives the chuck added rigidity and greater support behind the jaws so longer parts will not flex during machining-also helping to bring you higher speed machining.

Both LMC Model PB and Model PBH chucks are available with air, coolant or both air and coolant supplied through the chuck.

The LMC Workholding line includes...

-LMC and Matsumoto hydraulic power chucks, cylinders and wheel chucks;

-LMC rotary tables for single & multiple axis CNC machinery, EDM and other applications;

-Atling steady rests

-Neidlein face drivers, as well as live and dead centers.
