Piezoresistive Pressure Sensors offer ranges up to 150 psi.

Press Release Summary:

Suitable for dry and non-corrosive gases, Sensortechnics HRO Sensors provide gage and differential pressure measurement from 4 in. H2O to 150 psi full scale. Analog signal conditioning ensures mV output signals with nearly unlimited resolution. Calibrated and temperature compensated, sensors have miniature SIL housing that offers protection against stress during sensor mounting. Outer package is mechanically decoupled from inner part holding stable silicon sensing element.

Original Press Release:

Piezoresistive Silicon Pressure Sensors in a Robust Housing with Ranges up to 150 psi (10 bar)

First Sensor presents the new Sensortechnics HRO pressure sensors for gage and differential pressure measurement in a wide range from 4 inH2O to 150 psi (10 mbar up to 10 bar) full scale. The robust HRO pressure sensors are calibrated and temperature compensated and can be used with dry and non-corrosive gases. The completely analog signal conditioning ensures mV output signals with nearly unlimited resolution.

The special HRO housing design offers ideal protection against possible stress during sensor mounting. The outer package is mechanically decoupled from the inner part holding the highly stable silicon sensing element. The HRO sensors provide a miniature SIL housing with mounting holes for convenient, space-saving PCB-mounting. Two pressure ports allow for easy tubing connections.

Important features of the new HRO series:

- Pressure ranges from 4 inH2O to 150 psi (10 mbar up to 10 bar)

- Analog output signals with nearly unlimited resolution

- Special housing design offers ideal protection against stress

- SIL housing with mounting holes and tubing connections

Typical applications of the Sensortechnics HRO pressure sensors include industrial, pneumatic and environmental controls, instrumentation, medical devices as well as HVAC.
