July 24, 2002 - ST Series provides motion control for linear or rotary devices. Suitable for motion in nanometer range, it operates at speeds up to 250 mm/sec, provides 1.5 N of force, and is available in standard and vacuum compatible configurations. Motor offers unlimited travel and no intrinsic magnetic field. It is suited to applications in semiconductor, fiber optic, electronics, and general assembly manufacturing equipment.

ST Series Piezoelectric Motors Small Just Got Smaller

Nanomotion is pleased to introduce the ST Series Piezoelectric Motor. The ST is the smallest motor of its kind, reducing the overall length of the previous version by 9mm. The ST provides high resolution motion control for linear or rotary devices in a fraction of the space of traditional mechanisms. The ST is ideal for motion in the nanometer range, and can operate at speeds up to 250mm/sec. The ST provides 1.5N of force and is available in standard and vacuum compatible configurations.
