July 1, 2008 - Suited for general purpose measurement of acceleration, Model 3215M1 rugged IEPE accelerometer features quartz shear design element and thru-hole design for 360° connector orientation. It features case isolation technique utilizing anodized washers to assure off-ground operation and elimination of potential ground loops. Hermetically sealed sensor is designed for operation where flat frequency response and low thermal coefficient of sensitivity are required, such as ESS applications.

Rugged Thru-Hole IEPE Accelerometer, Model 3215M1


Chatsworth, CA (June 19, 2008) - The new model 3215M1 (10 mV/g) from Dytran Instruments is a piezoelectric accelerometer designed for general purpose measurement of acceleration. This rugged hermetically sealed sensor features a quartz shear design element, ultra stable MOSFET electronics and a thru-hole design for 360° connector orientation. The 3215M1 also features a unique case isolation technique utilizing anodized washers to assure off-ground operation and the elimination of potential
ground loops. This sensor was designed specifically for operation where flat frequency response and low thermal coefficient of sensitivity are required, such as ESS applications.
