Model 2222D Piezoelectric Accelerometer Offers Broad Linear Frequency Response for Small Structure Vibration Measurement
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, Calif. - January 13, 2003 - The Endevco Model 2222D is an industry-standard, miniature piezoelectric accelerometer designed for vibration and shock measurement of lightweight objects. The 2222D features a flexible dynamic range (when used with a laboratory grade charge amplifier), high shock survivability (10,000 g's), durable hermetic construction (no solvent/atmospheric contamination), a broad temperature range (-55°C to +175°C), and excellent amplitude linearity (less than 1%). Its light weight (1 gm) minimizes mass loading. Being a piezoelectric accelerometer without internal electronics, it exhibits a long Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF).
Signal ground is isolated from the mounting surface of the unit with a supplied hard-anodized mounting adapter. A flexible low-noise coaxial cable is supplied for error-free operation. Accelerometer and cable removal tools are included, ensuring proper removal in the field.
Endevco Signal Conditioner Models 133, 2775B or OASIS 2000 Computer-Controlled System are recommended for use with this high impedance accelerometer.
