May 11, 2005 - Model EPM3 provides open phase, phase sequence, and motor rotation testing. Half of unit measures phase sequence of 3-wire system using power of unit under test. With lamp indicators, tester will show 3-phase sequence or alternately indicate open phase situation. Other half of tester verifies 3-phase motor rotation on un-powered motor using internal 9 V battery. Model EPM3 is rated to CAT III 600 V standards and approved by CE, cCSAus, and TUV.

The convenient EPM3 form factor unites two measurement devices in one. One half of the unit measures the phase sequence of a 3-wire system using the power of the unit under test (UUT). Using lamp indicators, it will show the 3-phase sequence or alternately indicate an open phase situation. The opposite half of the EPM3 verifies 3-phase motor rotation - clockwise or counter clockwise - on an un-powered motor using an internal 9-volt battery.
