Accurate Pharmaceutical Labels Every Time with Citizen's CL-S703 300dpi Printer
Citizen Systems Europe, the leading manufacturer of label, barcode, portable and POS printers, has launched a 300dpi version of its latest CL-S700 range of industrial printers, making high quality pharmaceutical label printing simple, fast and cost effective. With new firmware that allows users to select the resolution needed for a particular application, the CL-S703 is ideal for producing high volumes of both shelf-edge labels for retail environments and product labels for busy production lines, where high print quality is essential.
The new CL-S703 has been designed to offer a compact solution for use where space is limited. All of the standard operations are accessible from the front of the printer, eliminating the need to move the unit to load media or access switches. Enhancing the printer's accessibility further is the ability to load media from the front of the unit, once again reducing the operational space required.
The printer features a robust Hi-Open(TM) metal case, which minimises its footprint and provides easy access and simple media loading, while making the unit suitable for demanding industrial environments. Furthermore, Hi-Lift(TM) mechanisms make ribbon loading quick and effortless using ARCP(TM) technology to eliminate ribbon wrinkle.
With a clear, flat paper path designed to increase efficiency, the CL-S703 is extremely fast, capable of printing up to 10 inches per second. Furthermore, due to a number of innovative features, it takes just 10 seconds to change the media, making the time needed to change both media and ribbons up to 10 times faster than that of competing printers.
The CL-S703 is available with Datamax® or Zebra® emulation for maximum flexibility. Parallel, serial and USB interfaces are standard, and Ethernet and Wireless LAN options can be added in a minute, providing remote control, configuration and monitoring of each printer. Additionally, a peeler, cutter, and rewinder are available for use with the machine to make printing labels even quicker and simpler for users.
