August 31, 2004 - Model 2-101-20 facilitates servicing of riveting machines used for assembly of airplane wings. Featuring hydraulic actuation and 2,000 lb capacity, custom lift safely raises maintenance personnel to head of machine and allows access to riveting head from all sides. Features include 93 in. long x 48 in. wide platform and 101 in. vertical travel. Aluminum platform extensions provide 500 lb capacity.

Custom Personnel Lift for Servicing Airplane Riveting Machines
(Niagara Falls, NY August 26, 2004) Riveting machines used for the assembly of airplane wings must be serviced on an irregular but immediate basis. This hydraulic, 2,000 lb. capacity lift was engineered and manufactured by Handling Specialty to raise maintenance personnel to the head of the machine quickly and safely. To allow access to the riveting head from all sides, 500 lb. capacity aluminum platforms extensions were included in the design.
