Wilden King Cobra(TM) Peristaltic Hose Pumps

Seal-Free Technology Offers Lower Maintenance Costs, Less Downtime

Grand Terrace, CA - Wilden, the worldwide leader in air-operated double-diaphragm and peristaltic pumping technologies, announced that its King Cobra(TM) Series Peristaltic Hose pumps have been designed to handle numerous applications found in chemical-processing and transfer applications. Abrasive, aggressive, viscous or shear-sensitive products that are commonly found in chemical-processing plants can be easily handled by the King Cobra.

The seal-free design of the King Cobra eliminates any potential leak points, lowering overall maintenance costs. The King Cobra pumps are available in six sizes, from 0.63-inch (10 mm) barbed connection through 4-inch (102 mm) ANSI flange connection. Further adding to the pump's versatility is the availability of a variety of hose materials, from natural rubber, Buna-N and EPDM. The King Cobra's cast-iron and stainless-steel body construction makes them virtually maintenance-free.

King Cobra pumps have dry-run capabilities and can handle fluids with maximum viscosities of 40,000 cps with a maximum flow rate of 237 gpm. Standard drive configurations include an integral motor, C-face gear-reducer or a C-face gear reducer with a TEFC, explosion proof or single-phase motor.
