Advanced Pedestal Welder Introduced by Dengensha America

Bedford, Ohio – October 25, 2004 – A new stationary spot/projection welder, the S-NDX, has been introduced by Dengensha America. The new welder incorporates the latest advancements in pedestal welders and is a further development of the popular NDX series of welders.

The S-NDX includes all of the NDX features, but as the “big brother” of the series, it’s built for heavy duty applications that require higher welding capacity. The new welder has a heavy duty frame with an adjustable lower knee and optional T-slot platens.

The S-NDX is equipped with an advanced Dengensha weld control and provides manufacturers which have welding operations with a versatile machine that is perfect for manual spot welding, robotic welding cells, projection welding of weld nuts and bolts and the fixtured welding of assemblies. Adaptable to both high and low volume production, the S-NDX also is easily integrated into existing welding and assembly operations.

Available in a number of different configurations meeting UL, CSA or CE specifications, the S-NDX Series machines offer adjustable strokes and a foot switch/palm button start signal along with a variety of advanced operator safety features. Dengensha’s Advanced Pedestal Welder also has the capability of including an optional low force safety cylinder and electronic nut presence sensor.
