Ortronics Introduces New Angled Clarity® Patch Panels

Angled Clarity Panels Offer a New Slant on Patch Cord Management

New London, CT – Ortronics is pleased to announce the introduction of the new Angled Clarity® Patch Panels. Built around the elevated performance of Clarity5E and Clarity6, these high-density patch panels utilize a unique recessed angle design to help direct cords more easily to vertical rack or cabinet cable management within a lower profile. This design provides an improved alternative for applications that don’t offer rack space for horizontal management.

Angled Clarity6 patch panels exceed all TIA Category 6 component requirements and are precision targeted to the Clarity6 patch cords for optimum performance that is field measurable in the channel. Clarity6 uses dual reactance technology with center tuning to enhance signal to noise performance, providing a nearly transparent signal path. These panels also reflect mechanical improvements that make it easier to terminate the larger conductors of Category 6 enhanced cables.

Angled Clarity5E panels utilize the center-tuning concept developed for Clarity6 to perform significantly above Category 5e channel requirements, while exceeding all TIA Category 5e component requirements.

All angled panels are labeled for T568B wiring but can be easily converted to T568A with a simple change of a supplied label, making this a truly universal panel solution. Rugged rear cable management is supplied to support best cabling practices.
