Ortronics/Legrand Introduces Clarity Curved Patch Panels
NEW LONDON, Conn., May 17 - Ortronics/Legrand, a global leader in high performance copper, fiber and wireless structured cabling solutions, introduces Clarity curved patch panels. The new curved patch panels, built around the elevated performance of Clarity 6 and 5E connectivity technology, feature an innovative look, utilizing a patent-pending recessed curved design. The curved design helps direct patch cords to vertical rack or cabinet management within a lower profile and provides another alternative for installations with limited rack space for horizontal management.
Ortronics Clarity curved patch panels are available in 24-port (1 rack unit) and 48-port (2 rack units) configurations. Like Ortronics Clarity flat and angled patch panels, the new curved panels are ETL tested and verified to TIA Category 6 and 5e component specifications. They are precision tuned to Clarity patch cords using Ortronics center tuned technology for significantly improved cross talk and return loss performance that is field measurable in the link or channel. Clarity 10G curved patch panels will also be available mid-summer.
Clarity curved panels include rear cable management, have full labeling capabilities and are icon compatible. They feature universal T568A/B wiring and support standard 110 termination practices. In addition, they are RoHS compliant and meet all lead-free requirements.
