Designed to eliminate hand loading, Model DS1100 features 6-axis articulating robotic arm that provides dexterity for unloading parts from tray to conveyor and reloading them. Over/under conveyor design delivers parts to machine and takes complete parts or empty trays from machine. In addition to accommodating virtually any tray for any application including clean rooms, machine can be specified as compact machine tool loader.

Distech Systems Introduces New Generation DS1100
Distech Systems has introduced a new generation DS1100, its flagship parts feeding machine. The changes are more than skin deep. While the system sports a new skin design and new graphics, new technology has also been incorporated into the system.
The parts feeder eliminates hand loading, which reduces the health problems associated with repetitive motion. A six-axis articulating robotic arm provides greater dexterity for unloading parts from trays to conveyors and reloading them. Previous generation DS1100 were equipped with four-axis, non-articulating robots.
Distech has retained the DS1100's compact footprint by improving on the over/under conveyor design that delivers parts to the machine and takes completed parts or empty trays from the machine. The new system can accommodate virtually any tray for any application, including clean rooms.
While the DS1100's primary function is feeding parts to assembly operations, the new generation can also be specified as a compact machine tool loader.
All Distech systems are complete, turnkey systems, and are capable of performing such secondary operations as testing, inspections, printing and scanning. This eliminates the need for additional onsite integration.
