October 7, 2005 - DPW series feature DIRECTCONNECT(TM) technology and offer mounting patterns in 3 sizes, with 2 strokes per size. Able to be mounted directly to other modular automation products without adapter plates, products can withstand over 10 million cycles. Wide body design provides secure gripping of parts, and jaws are supported throughout length of gripper body for long finger applications. Gripper can be mounted and operated in any orientation.

Robohand's DIRECTCONNECT(TM) DPW Parallel Gripper Series Features a Revolutionary New Wide Body Design


Madison Heights, Michigan, September 27, 2005 - The DPW series wide body parallel grippers from Robohand, a DE-STA-CO Company, feature DIRECTCONNECT(TM) technology and offer mounting patterns in three sizes with two strokes per size. Like all products in the DIRECTCONNECT line, the mounting patterns allow the grippers to be mounted directly to other modular automation products without adapter plates, saving time, weight and money.

With preventative maintenance, the DPW series has proven itself rugged enough to withstand more than 10 million cycles. The grippers' wide body design provides secure gripping of large and wide parts. The jaws are supported throughout the length of the gripper body making the new series well suited for long finger applications.

The DPW series comes with a wide range of options and accessories including multiple air port locations, a shaft wiper option, magneto resistive or inductive sensors, and specials. The gripper can be mounted and operated in any orientation.
