Suited for front and rear mounting, lead-free 3 and 5 mm Panel Mount LEDs install in holes from 0.156-0.312 in. and are available with variety of options including custom lead lengths, high temperature insulation, internal resistors, and connector terminations. Sealed against water and dust, LEDs are suited for demanding outdoor applications. Housings come in blue, green, red, yellow, white, and clear for use with single color, bicolor, and tricolor LEDs.

With the July 2006 RoHS compliance dateline rapidly approaching, Wilbrecht Electronics is introducing a series of new Panel Mount LEDs which meet RoHS and lead-free certification standards. The RoHS compliant LEDs are recommended for new designs and RoHS conversion of existing products. Suitable for front and rear mounting, the 3mm and 5mm LEDs allow easy installation for hole sizes ranging from 0.156" to 0.312". To help applications meet the RoHS deadline, prototypes are available within one week of request and production units within four weeks of requisition.
With the custom options available from Wilbrecht, the RoHS compliant and lead-free LEDs can offer a cost effective solution for designers. The new LEDs are available with a variety of options including custom lead lengths, high temperature insulation, internal resistors, and connector terminations. They afford further labor savings with fast, easy mounting utilizing simple friction fit design. Sealed against water and dust, the LEDs are ideal for demanding outdoor applications. An optional O-ring is available for an extra water resistant seal. The LED housings are available in 6 colors: blue, green, red, yellow, white, and clear for use with single color, bicolor and tricolor LEDs. Users can select from several popular lens styles including cartridge, fresnel lens, flush mount and domed styles.
