L-com Releases New USB UPM Style Panel Mount Cables
NORTH ANDOVER, MAÂ Â — L-com, Inc., a designer and manufacturer of wired and wireless connectivity products, announced today that it is now selling USB 2.0 UPM Style Panel Mount Cables with 2mm pitch PCB Header Connectors. L-com's Panel Mount USB cables are designed to make "board-to-box" USB connections a cinch with a pre-installed 5pin 2mm pitch connector.
These USB cables are a metric addition to L-com's popular UPMA5 & UPMB5 cable series, which use 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch connectors. Pitch is defined as the distance between connector positions.
"We've had several custom product requests for metric versions of our existing panel mount USB cables with PCB header connectors," said Steve Smith, Product Manager. "Now they are available off the shelf."
