With USB programming cards, CUB5 and PAX Panel Meters can be connected to any computer, with no serial converters or other external devices needed. Cards offer plug-and-play usability, and with CrimsonŽ software, allow operators to set parameters, download configurations, and save program files. Cards are available separately and require user-supplied USB cord, or users can select programming kits, which include USB card, USB cable, and Crimson software.

YORK, PA-March 3, 2009- Red Lion Controls, Inc. introduces USB option cards for the company's CUB5 and PAX panel meters. These USB programming cards-one available for each meter-provide users with an efficient, cost-effective way to connect CUB5 and PAX meters to almost any computer, with no serial converters or other external devices needed. With this plug-and-play usability, USB option cards facilitate panel meter programming utilizing Red Lion's free CrimsonŽ software, allowing operators to set parameters, download configurations to panel meters and save program files on the computer for future reference.
By eliminating the need for serial-to-USB converters, CUB5 and PAX USB cards reduce programming time and hassle while saving labor and equipment costs. The cards can be purchased individually, requiring a user-supplied USB cord for operation, or users can select either a CUB5 or PAX programming kit. These kits include the respective USB option card, a USB connecting cable and the latest version of Crimson software.
