The new GA4534 is engineered with non-protruding brush holders and an innovative motor housing that reduce the barrel diameter to only 2-3/16". In addition, the GA4534 has an ergonomic grip for added comfort, and weighs only 4.2 lbs. for reduced operator fatigue. The side handle is positioned at an increased 20-degree angle for added comfort and control, and the paddle switch has a no lock-on for added user preference.

The new GA4034 is powered by a Makita-built 6 AMP motor that delivers 11,000 RPM for the most demanding applications. The labyrinth construction seals and protects the motor and bearings from dust and debris for longer tool life. In addition, the machined bevel gears provide at least 2X longer service life than previous models, and the all ball bearing design and metal gear housing are engineered for added durability.
