PLCs support discrete and analog I/O modules.

Press Release Summary:

Using Terminator field I/O hardware, Do-more T1H Series supports up to 256 I/O points in 3 stackable rows. I/O Configuration window performs full auto-discovery of all I/O modules in local drop, simplifying system configuration. For larger applications, Ethernet-based remote I/O can be connected for hundreds of additional points. With built-in simulator, Do-more Designer software creates virtual PLC so logic can be tested without PLC present.

Original Press Release:

AutomationDirect Launches Do-More T1H Series PLC

AutomationDirect has released the latest addition to its PLC offerings, the Do-more T1H Series PLC. This new PLC series offers features and performance of high-end PLCs for an economical price.

Using the proven Terminator field I/O hardware as a platform, the Do-moreT1H PLC supports stackable base units, discrete and analog I/O modules. The T1H CPUs high processor speeds not only decrease program execution time, but also allow the CPUs to support Ethernet connectivity and custom communication protocols as built-in functions.

A Do-more T1H CPU supports up to 256 I/O points in three stackable rows. The I/O Configuration window performs full auto-discovery of all I/O modules in the local drop, simplifying system configuration.

For larger applications, Ethernet-based remote I/O can be connected for hundreds of additional points.

T1H series CPUs reduce system cost and space by including embedded communications ports. The T1H-DM1 CPU with one serial and one USB port sells for $359; the T1H-DM1E CPU adds an embedded Ethernet port, for just $459.

The T1H series CPUs are programmed using Do-more Designer software, version 1.2.1 or later, and can be downloaded free of charge. The Do-more T1H PLC provides an advanced instruction set to reduce programming time, superior memory mapping to improve data management, and data structures to simplify initial programming and long-term software maintenance.

Do-more Designer’s built-in simulator creates a virtual PLC so logic can be tested without a PLC present. The tool simulates discrete and analog I/O, with access to timers, counters and control bits, as well as the PID function.
