In addition to leveraging Intel® 945GC desktop chipset, PCE-5020 supports Intel Core(TM)2 Duo, Pentium® Dual-Core, and Celeron® 400 processors with 1,066 MHz FSB and DDR2 667 MHz SDRAM up to 4 GB. Graphics Media Accelerator 950 graphics core with 224 MB shared memory is standard, and I/O includes four 300 GBps SATA II ports with RAID 0/1/5/10 and 4 COM ports. Suited for image- or data-intensive applications, SHB also offers one PCIe x16 and 4 PCIe x1 lanes to backplane.

High computing power makes it suitable for today's industrial applications that need intense image or data processing. Besides great computing power, the PCE-5020 offers a high-performance, integrated Graphics Media Accelerator 950 graphics core with 224 MB shared memory. Advanced graphics capability makes it suitable for applications that require complex 3D/2D graphics display via a VGA port.
Great Connectivity
PCE-5020 is rich in I/O interfaces: it has four SATA 2 ports with RAID 0, 1, 5, and 10, providing high data transmission rates (300 MB/sec) and super-reliable read/write performance. The four serial ports (COM ports) can be used for device control applications. Dual Gigabit Ethernet LANs offer strong networking capability.
With one PCIe x16 and four PCIe x1 lanes going to the backplane, the PCE-5020 can be used with all Advantech PCE-5000 series backplanes and can utilize mainstream PCIe x16 graphics cards. With eighteen 5000 series backplanes, the PCI, PCI-X, and PCIe expansion options are both robust and numerous.
