Offering range of I/O interfaces, FS-A72 supports Intel® Core 2 Quad/Duo, Dual-Core, and Celeron CPUs @ 1,333/1,066/800 MHz. Backbone architecture of Graphic Memory Controller Hub optimizes available bandwidth, while support for Intel® Matrix Storage Technology accelerates access to applications and data files with RAID 0/10 as well as data protection against HDD failure with RAID 1/5/10. Intel® Graphics Accelerator 4500 and 2 x DDR3 800/1,066 MHz SDRAM up to 4 GB are also standard.

COMMELL Announces PICMG 1.3 SBC with Q45 Chipset
Taiwan Commate Computer Inc. (COMMELL), the worldwide leader of Single Board Computers that introduces the PICMG 1.3 System Host Board-Express (SHB) FS-A72 with higher bandwidth for PCIe ports. The FS-A72 based on Intel® Q45 Express chipset, which supports Intel® Core 2 Quad processor Q9400, Intel® Core 2 Duo processors E8400, E7400, E6400 and E4300, Intel® Dual-Core processors E5300 and E2160, and Intel® Celeron processor 440 @ 1333/1066/800 MHz System Bus, providing awesome performance for today's and tomorrow's demanding software applications - such as CTI, graphics-intensive games or serious number-crunching programs.
COMMELL's FS-A72 single board computer has a built-in Intel® Graphics Accelerator 4500 delivering excellent blend of graphics performance and features, integrated dual-display support and support for Microsoft DirectX 10 and OpenGL 2.0 enabling support for the highest levels of Windows Vista experience. The Graphic Memory Controller Hub incorporates an updated backbone architecture that optimizes available bandwidth with the 1333 MHz system bus.
The SBC also supports Intel® Matrix Storage Technology (MST), provides quicker access to applications and data files with RAID 0 and 10, and greater data protection against a hard disk drive failure with RAID 1, 5, and 10.
FS-A72 is specifically designed to support enriched IO interfaces that comes with floppy, Printer port, PS/2 Keyboard and Mouse, GPIO, 5 x RS232C and 1 x RS232/422/485, 2 x Intel®82574L PCI-Express Giga LAN, 8 x USB2.0 ports. It offers support for High Definition Audio enabling increased bandwidth for high quality audio and support for Dolby Technology.
