Perle Systems Announces New Parallel PCI Cards
SPEED LE Parallel Cards enable users to add parallel ports, supporting the full IEEE 1284, standard to PC's and servers
NASHVILLE, TN-July 22, 2008- Perle Systems, the global leader and pioneer in serial and I/O connectivity today announced the development and release of a line of SPEED LE parallel and serial/ parallel PCI and PCI Express cards. Market demand is increasing as HP, Dell and IBM are introducing more servers without serial or parallel ports. Enterprises with a requirement to continue the support of serial and parallel devices on these servers require a PCI or PCI Express card with parallel and serial RS232 interfaces.
