With utility software program that supports multiple operating systems such as Windows 2000 and XP, WinCE 6.0, and Linux Kernel 2.6, PCM-3614I (4-port) and PCM-3641I (8-port) RS-232/422/485 PCI-104 modules include TX/RX LED indicators, as well as shared IRQ settings for each of their ports. These ports are standard PC ports that are COM1, COM2, COM3, and COM4 compatible. Modules feature +5 V at 450 mA power consumption, 50 bps to 460.3 kbps speed, and 0-65°C operating temperature.

Advantech Launches a 4-Port and an 8-Port PCI-104 Module
(Cincinnati, Ohio - 9/03/08) - The Industrial Automation Group of Advantech introduces the PCM-3614I (4-port) and PCM-3641I (8-port) RS-232/422/485 PCI-104 modules with automatic RS-485 data flow control. A convenient utility software program is supplied with each module that supports multiple operating systems, such as Windows 2000 and XP, WinCE 6.0, and Linux Kernel 2.6, eliminating the need to manually program the modules.
Both modules include TX/RX LED indicators, as well as shared IRQ settings for each of their ports. These ports are standard PC ports that are COM1, COM2, COM3, and COM4 compatible.
