Units feature aluminum dome lens in variety of colors for flush mounting actuators, as well as full-face square or round illuminated lens. Switches interface with PCBs and can be mounted or removed using twist-release locking mechanism. With behind-panel depth of 44 mm, Series 71 is suited for space-restricted environments.

EAO Switches Offers New Illuminating Lenses

The series now incorporates screen printed symbols to facilitate operator interface, such as the international on/off design. Options include attractive colored lenses and "ring"' and "center spot" illumination.
Series 71 features an aluminum dome lens in a variety of colors for flush-mounting actuators as well as the traditional full-face square or round illuminated lens. This enhances the aesthetic design of a control panel and improves the industrial ergonomics for a variety of operating environments. It can also be used to refresh an existing control panel with a completely new look to extend the product life-cycle. Importantly, Series 71 requires fewer parts, which simplifies the assembly process and delivers time and cost savings benefits to the customer.
Series 71 switches are designed to readily interface with PCB's. They are quick and easy to mount or remove from the PCB due to EAO's unique twist-release locking mechanism. Plus, Series 71 benefits from a behind-panel depth of just 44mm, which makes these components ideal for space-restricted environments. With a modular design that enables actuators, lenses, and mounting styles to be combined in different ways to create many different switches, Series 71 can be readily incorporated into HMI Systems.
Series 71 switches are protected to IP65 from the front for use in general industrial environments, and are CE approved. They accommodate voltages ranging from 5 VAC/10mA to 250VAC/3A.
