October 26, 2009 - Designed for low power consumption and anti-vibration embedded markets, PFM-945C features Intel® Atom(TM) N270 processor and Intel 945GSE + ICH7M chipset with up to 1 GB DDRII 400/533 system memory. PCI/104-Express feature integrates PCI-104 + PCIe/104 functions, and SMSC SCH3114 I/O chipset allows for flexible expansion. Communication is fostered via one 10/100Base-TX Ethernet RJ-45 port as well as 4 USB 2.0 and 4 COM interfaces.

AAEON Unveils a Brand New PC/104 CPU Module with PCI/104-Express Function--PFM-945C


Taipei Taiwan (September 18, 2009)- AAEON, a premier Industrial PC manufacturer, has launched a brand new PC/104 CPU module- the PFM-945C. The special characteristic of this PC/104 module is the onboard PCI/104-Express function. To fulfill the demands of the embedded market, aAEON designed the PFM-945C as a priority project of its Embedded Computing Division.

The PFM-945C is built upon the onboard Intel® Atom(TM) N270 processor and Intel® 945GSE + ICH7M chipset with up to 1GB of onboard DDRII 400/533 system memory. Moreover, it equips SMSC SCH3114 I/O chipset for flexible expansion. The PFM-945C offers one 10/100Base-TX Ethernet RJ-45 port as well as 4 USB2.0, 4 COM and PCI/104-Express interfaces. The PCI/104-Express feature integrates PCI-104 + PCIe/104 functions and not only meets demanding connectivity and expansion requirements, but also provides a faster and safer connection for vital applications.
