New Over-Mold Solution for Battery Clips

Battery clips are a common electrical device most commonly used for jump starting vehicles. Battery clips however have many other uses and are quite common for test equipment used on a broad spectrum of apparatus. A standard battery clip generally has a slip on boot which serves as an insulating cover to prevent against shock. To add value to this old design ISC Engineering developed a new over-mold solution. Some of the benefits include:

- A strain relief which adds durability and longevity to the assembly

-Over-molding as opposed to a slip on boot provides added insulation and grip

-Over-molding also improves aesthetics and includes a logo space for branding and labels

In addition to these benefits by over-molding the handles the soldered connection is now encapsulated in plastic which provides additional protection and strength.  To learn more about ISC’s new value added solutions for battery clips visit http://www.iscengineering.com/ or talk directly to an engineer 909-203-1121.
