Linear Introduces International Electronics' Max 3 Output Module
Increases the Number of Applications Available to Customers on Secured Series Access Control Systems
Anaheim, Calif. (September 21, 2009) - Linear LLC, a market innovator in RF remote controls, access control and wireless security systems for residential and commercial applications, today introduced a new product from its International Electronics' (IEI) product group, the Max 3 Output Module (model number M3-OM), which adds 8 form
C control relay outputs to an IEI Max 3 or MiniMax 3 access control system. Linear acquired IEI in 2007 and recently completed the transition of all the company's operations (see accompanying press release about the transition).
The announcement came on the occasion of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS International) Annual Seminars and Exhibits held here. ASIS is the pre-eminent organization for security professionals, with more than 37,000 members worldwide.
The Max 3 Output Module enables IEI customers using the Secured Series access systems to handle a greater number of applications such as elevator control, handicapped door control, and controlling or triggering a camera or DVR upon a card read or PIN code.
Highlights of the Max 3 Output Module include:
o The addition of 8 form C Control relay outputs to a Max 3 or MiniMax 3 access control system.
o Power LED and individual relay status LEDs.
o The ability to specify a custom name and time value for each of the 8 outputs.
o Modular design with convenient "stackable" mounting to the Max 3 module.
o Installs securely in a Max 3 and MiniMax 3 cabinet.
o Primary and back-up power from the Max 3 or MiniMax 3 system.

The Max 3 Output Module is software controlled, using Version 8.0 Hub Manager Professional Software. Hub Manager Professional is bundled with each Secured Series product and with the Max 3 Output Module.
