Offered in 10 colors, MT-RJ SECURE Outlet and MT-RJ SECURE Patch Panel Jacks are no-epoxy, non-polish, no-crimp, reusable 2-fiber connectors that help users segregate multiple networks in same location. Color-coded and keyed jacks mate only with like-colored plugs to minimize connection to wrong networks and improper connection of segregated networks. Jacks are available for 50 micron, 62.5 micron, XG, and singlemode systems.

Tyco Electronics Expands Highly Popular AMP NETCONNECT MT-RJ SECURE(TM) Connector Product Line
Six New Color-Coded and Keyed MT-RJ SECURE Outlet and Patch Panel Jacks Now Available (Rose, Aqua, Brown, Violet, Orange & Slate)
HARRISBURG, Pa. - Jan. 24, 2005 - Tyco Electronics announces the expansion of the highly popular AMP NETCONNECT MT-RJ SECURE connector product line with the addition of six new, color-coded and keyed, MT-RJ SECURE Outlet and MT-RJ SECURE Patch Panel Jacks. The new colors are rose, aqua, brown, violet, orange and slate. These new colors, along with the original four colors (red, yellow, green and blue), increase the product line to ten MT-RJ SECURE Jack options.
"The MT-RJ SECURE product line was developed to provide customers with a means of segregating multiple networks in the same location, and provide an additional level of physical security, since standard MT-RJ Plugs will not mate with the MT-RJ SECURE jacks," stated Claude de Lorraine, global product manager, Tyco Electronics fiber optic business unit. "The number of facilities with multiple networks continues to grow, as does the number of networks in those facilities. The original four options were no longer sufficient to meet the requirements of our global customers. This addition to the portfolio allows users to increase their options."
The MT-RJ SECURE products feature color-coded, mechanical keyed jacks, which mate only with like-colored plugs to minimize connection to wrong networks and to minimize the chances of improper connection of segregated networks.
MT-RJ SECURE Outlet Jacks and MT-RJ SECURE Patch Panel Jacks are no-epoxy, non-polish, no-crimp, reusable, two-fiber connectors that make optical fiber termination faster and easier than traditional connectors. MT-RJ SECURE Outlet Jacks, MT-RJ SECURE Patch Panel Jacks, and MT-RJ SECURE Cable Assemblies are available for a complete end-to-end solution for 50 micron, 62.5 micron, XG (850nm LO 50 micron), and singlemode systems.
