December 4, 2003 - Models KL3361 and KL3362 process 16 mv and 10 V analog signals, respectively, and can replace separate analog cards and associated wiring harnesses. Analog input values are processed over 1 of 13 fieldbus networks including Ethernet, Profibus, and DeviceNet. Bus Terminals locally convert analog signal to digital signal at speeds configurable down to 10 µs. They store data in local 32 Kbyte buffer for subsequent transmission over fieldbus.

Beckhoff Introduces KL3362 High Speed Oscilloscope Terminal

Beckhoff, keeping with their New Automation Technology strategy, expands the popular Bus Terminal distributed I/O by adding the KL3362 and KL3361 high speed oscilloscope terminals. These new intelligent and compact analog signal processor modules can replace separate and expensive analog cards and associated wiring harnesses to solve high speed analog processing. The KL3361 processes 16mv analog signals and the KL3362 processes 10V signals. These Bus Terminals allow for fast analog input values to be processed over one of thirteen fieldbus networks supported by Beckhoff including Ethernet, Profibus, and DeviceNet. The KL336x terminals locally convert the analog signal to a digital signal at speeds configurable down to 10us. The KL336x buffers the data in a local 32Kbyte buffer for subsequent transmission over the fieldbus.
