Utilizing geometric shape to produce self-induced oscillations, Model 140MX has no moving parts or bluff bodies susceptible to wear or jamming. There are no piping run requirements, which facilitates installation, and typical accuracy is 1% of flow rate. Ability to handle fluids with viscosities of up to 80 centistokes, flowmeter offers 12 to 1 flow turndown and repeatability of 0.25% of flow rate. Design accommodates 0.75, 1.0, and 1.5 in. pipe sizes.

Originally developed by Moore Products, Hawk Measurement's Model 140MX is an oscillatory flowmeter which utilizes a specially designed geometric shape to produce self-induced oscillations. Unlike traditional flowmeters, the 140MX has no moving parts or bluff bodies to wear or jam. This ensures years of reliable service and coupled with its ability to handle high viscosity fluids and low flow rates, provides exceptional performance in the toughest of applications. In addition, the fact that there is no piping run requirements simplifies installation and yields cost savings.
