Capable of working continuously for 40 hr with three 1.5 V alkaline batteries, GAO08221 Light Source can be used for telecom and CATV testing and maintenance of fiber optics. It features wavelengths of 1,310 or 1,550 nm, -7 to -6 dBm output power, and output stability of 0.05 dB/15 min or 0.1 dB/8 hr. Product has operating temperature of -10 to 60°C, storage temperature of -25 to 70°C, and FC/PC optical connectors.

Toronto, Canada - GAO Tek Inc. (www.GAOTek.com) introduces its Mini Optical Light Source (GAO08221), combining performance with rugged durability in an extremely small size package. The light source is used for telecom and CATV testing and maintenance of fiber optics.
Combined together with GAO08221 Mini optical power meter, it provides an excellent solution for the fiber optic network and field work. This optimized mini light source can work 40h continuously with 3 1.5V alkaline batteries.
