LumaCore(TM) Based Optical Inserts for ARINC Connectors from Molex are Ideal for Harsh Environments


LISLE, Ill. - March 23, 2009 - Molex Incorporated (NASDAQ: MOLX and MOLXA) announced today its latest design of the LumaCore(TM) based optical inserts with various termini densities from 32 to 72 fibers for ARINC connectors.

The ARINC inserts are equipped with precision alignment pins and removable sleeve assemblies to simplify inspection and cleaning of the termini. These features enable ARINC connectors to deliver stable, high-density, optical performance in harsh environments.

The ARINC inserts are supplied with the necessary mounting hardware and are designed so that customers can select the ARINC frame cavity for mounting.

The ARINC connectors will be displayed at the Optical Fiber Communication Conference and Exposition (OFC) and the National Fiber Optic Engineers Conference (NFOEC) at booth 1303, March 24 - 26. For more information, please visit http://www.molex.com/product/lumacore.html.
